I was sent the Elemis Exotic perfume, because you all nagged me on twitter about reviewing it. Jokes. In all seriousness, a lot of you had asked me if id tried the perfume, how long it lasted and all of that and what better way to find out than to try it myself and let you all know? So ive done a few Q&A's that might help. If ive missed anything out, please let me know and i'll gladly add something on.
For starters, here's what it looks like:
What does it smell like?
Weeellll, when you first spray it, it smells quite floral, but as it deepens over time, you can really smell the cedarwood. If i were to describe the fragrance in three words, they would be: Fresh. Warm. Sexy.
Does it smell funny after a few hours?
No! this is definitely a high quality product as always with Elemis, and it does not smell funny after a few hours, it smells as divine as it did when it was applied.
Does it stain your clothes?
I know some of you have had a few issues with perfume going a yellowy color and staining your clothes, but to answer your question, no, definitely not. I've worn this everyday for a week and have not experienced this at all.
How long does it last?
Ages! As always with perfume, you dont smell it after a few minutes, but my friends and family all complimented my smell (LOL!) hours after i applied it.
Is it sticky?
I know some perfume's go all sticky when first applied, but this one definitely does not, its like a mist more than a focussed spray.
