If Twitter reaction means anything the people in Arizona absolutely love this McDonald guy. There have been multiple tweets from current and former AZ DBacks, club officials, and announcing crew guys saying they are going to miss him in the locker room and on the field.
This means Inge is not making the team for one. And maybe not Harrison either.

Ironically he's hit for better average than Clint Barmes (but far less power) over the last 4 seasons. Neither are worth much of a **** to get on base.
I guess for a utility infielder, this isn't terrible. I still think they'd be just as good with DeJesus or Mercer but this should hopefully get Harrison off the roster. i'm crossing my fingers about it at least
This grandpa says Harrison should make the team.
