During the Academy Award ceremony earlier this year, stars arrived in the usual black car, but many of these were either powered by alternative fuel or were hybrid vehicles. According to NPR, Econation “has contracts with most of the major Hollywood studios”, which led to many stars arriving in the fuel efficient cars.

- Hybrid GMC Yukons emit 89 percent fewer smog-forming emissions than the average new car, exceeding the standards for a Super Ultra Low Emission Vehicle (SULEV).
In addition to vehicles with lower emissions, the company engages in environmentally conscious behaviors such as maintaining a nearly paperless office and minimizing water consumption. Their mission is “to make a positive environmental impact on the world around us, by setting new standards for the transportation industry.”
