It wasn’t that long ago that I posted my latest BH Cosmetics haul. Since then, I’ve been reaching for the After Hours palette more and more each day. Today’s glitzy glam look is going to feature 2 eye shadows from this palette. I used a couple of other products from BH as well as Wet N Wild (WNW) to tie the look together — eyes, lips, cheeks. I’m so excited. This look has it all: glitz! glam! and budget-friendly!
Eye Shadow Palette – BH Party Girl After Hours
C = Crease Color and L = Lid Color
I’m going to be using 2 eyeshadows from this palette: (1) glitter infused silver shade and the (2) deep dark brown. I’ve labeled them in the picture above. The silver shadow is in the diamond shades section of the palette. I packed this shade onto my lids. I then added the deep brown shade slightly about the crease using a precise brush. Using a fluffier eyeshadow brush, blend shadow into the lid color very well. Now… the fun part. I applied BH Glitter Eyeliner in Rapture all over the base silver shadow on the lids. The next step is optional. Press in silver glitter pigment using fingers. Keep adding glitter pigment to lids until you achieve the perfect glittery, glitzy eyes.
Blush – WNW Fergie Around the Clock
Used the subtle but beautiful brush with brilliance blush by Wet N Wild. It’s the first blush listed above. There’s 3 in the Fergie centerstage collection at the moment. I’ve been loving this blush. And it is only $4.99 at the drugstore! Since my eyes are the main attraction in today’s look, a healthy flush of color really rounds out the look.
All products used were under $5 bucks including the optional glitter pigment that was purchased on amazon.
Lips – BH Cosmetics ColorLock Matte
Well…If you’ve been reading GRW you know how obsessed I am with BH matte lipsticks. I did a review and demo with swatches on youtube. I chose to use the shade Faithful with today’s silver glitter eye look. I love this lipstick – particularly this shade. I think it’s such a gorgeous nude, peachy-pink.
