East Coast Extravaganza

By Whollykao @whollyKao

Howdy! Today I’m blogging from my phone on the Amtrak. I’m in the middle of my trip to the east coast, and making my way toward the Big Apple. Isn’t technology grand?

Just thought I’d share some trip
pics with y’all.

I had a lot of fun at my friend Emily’s wedding this past weekend. One wedding down, one to go! Hers was the first Jewish wedding I’ve attended, and it was neat to see their traditions.

And no trip is complete without food pics! The seafood shots are from Montauk, a quaint restaurant by the bay in Rhode Island. They are most famous for the dozen-or-so kinds of raw oysters they offer daily. Did I mention that they also offer tours where you can pull on a pair of waders and go see where the oysters are caught? Wish we could’ve taken part of that!

For those of you that follow me on Instagram, you’re probably tired of seeing my food pics from this trip.
But with the second leg of the trip (and my friend Amy’s wedding!) coming up, I’m sure I’ll be posting a lot more!
