Photographer: Baron Adolph de Meyer (1868-1946)

Process: gelatin silver print

Note: De Meyer owes his fame to his portraits of celebrities, including Mary Pickford, John Barrymore, King George V, and Queen Mary. In 1913, he became the first official fashion photographer for Vogue.
