Man, too bad about this one. Pitt had the outcome in its grasp and let go. Tough to lose in OT when a short FG would've won it.What concerns me is this team may not qualify for a bowl game. 2 wins in the final 3 are necessary to become "bowl eligible". The final three: at North Carolina, vs. Syracuse, at Miami (FL).
Miami (FL) put a licking on UNC yesterday. Syracuse is one of the weakest teams in the ACC. However, it is a rivalry game for Pitt, so a win there is not guaranteed. Bottom line, IMO, is the Panthers have their work cut out for them.
