When I saw the name Duckwrth pop up in my emails, I wasn't exactly expecting a hip hop artist, but it was a nice surprise. With roots in the Bay area and LA, Duckwrth is starting to jumpstart his hip hop career with his latest mixtape called TAXFREE Vol. 1, which features RGLND, QUEENS D.LIGHT, DUNZO (THEMHELLAS) and production from Duckwrth himself, AlyMusic, SpencerxStevens, Ze Brainchild, Matthew Wright & Amp Live. He also channels his inner A Tribe Called Quest and a bit of Mos Def, just a bit less philosophical at times. This a great look into what Duckwrth is about and looking forward to his future releases.
