Pulling from the nostalgia of dream-pop’s past, LA outfit Dream Boy’s new single, “Born Yesterday”, gives us a glimpse into what to expect from the band’s upcoming self-titled debut. The song’s swirling surf-rock guitars and melancholic lyrics about loneliness and memories show the band’s fortitude as a contemporary group making music reminiscent of a different era.
