Dragon Age Inquisition to Feature Four-player Co-op Mode
Posted on the 27 August 2014 by Sameo452005 @iSamKuliiDragon Age Inquisition will feature an all-new four-player cooperative mode in which players work together to complete quests separate from the single-player story, BioWare has announced.
The new mode promises fast-paced matches requiring strategic team gameplay while adding Inquisition's tactical class combat and loot and crafting systems.
Multiplayer has been in development in parallel with the single-player, but is completely independent and has no impact on your single-player story or character.
"Our goal with Dragon Age multiplayer is not to affect your SP campaign," explains a FAQ. "We simply want to give our fans the chance to play with their friends for the first time in the Dragon Age universe."
In-game currency known as Platinum will be used, and this can be earned in-game or through real money payments. However, BioWare is confident this won't cause balance issues.
"Our philosophy for MP - and we are adamant about it - is that you can buy anything with gold coins, which is the currency you get from dungeon-crawling. There will be no pay wall."
The FAQ adds: "There will be no pay walls in Dragon Age multiplayer. Everything is accessible with gold coins. You can use premium currency, but you don't have to."
Dragon Age Inquisition will launch for PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on November 21.
