What better way to mark the 4th of July than with this classic aircraft sporting our flag proudly.  This DC-3 is part of the Historic Flight Foundation’s collection, our hosts for the ISAP XII field trip.  This aircraft started out as a wartime C-47 in China before returning to the US where it served with Pan Am Airlines before another career as an executive transport. It was restored with a 1949 Pan Am paint scheme, which includes a 48 stars flag.
