Doublehead Trading Company in Cambridge City, Indiana is one of those antique shops that you just can’t miss.
With various items clamoring for your attention on the outside, this shop has plenty to look at inside, in the back room, in the attic, and to the side!

Marty, the owner of this Indiana antique shop, is as laid back as they come. While some antique shop owners may cringe at the sight of two young boys entering their shop, Marty took the time to show him some of his unusual treasures: a stuffed chihuahua and the biggest collection of jars I’ve ever seen (and I’ve seen a lot!).
Though Marty describes himself as a “barefoot redneck,” to Kid #1 he is officially the coolest guy on the planet with a really fun shop. Doublehead Trading Company has no shortage of treasures.
There’s a lot to sift through in this unique Wayne County shop. Everywhere you look, and I mean everywhere, you will find something unique, unusual, or just plain awesome. It may be on a shelf, on the wall, or hanging from the ceiling!
Indiana Antique Shop

When I say “biggest collection of jars I’ve ever seen” please do not take that statement lightly.
I’ve been to a lot of Indiana towns and a whole lot of antique shops found within them. Here there was a room full of jars, many of them by Ball, in all sorts of shades. Some possess unique (and very old) lids.
These went from floor to ceiling on two giant shelving units. There were more jars located underneath the counter, too!
Marty has been told by “folks in the know” that he has the biggest collection anywhere. I would believe it! Really, it’s incredible.
