The story of the rebooted DOOM will be the same as Doom 3. The game will begin with you visiting the Union Aerospace Corporation’s research facility on Mars, which quickly gets taken over by demons. Your mission – Kill them all!
In the single player mode, the game is all about guns, killing hordes of demons, and surviving. “There is no taking cover or stopping to regenerate health.” The new advanced melee system will add extra violence to the game by letting you ” slash, stomp, crush, and blow apart demons”
Multiplayer mode will feature arena-style combat in classic and new game modes. DOOM will also feature SnapMap game editor, which allows gamers to create and play their own levels.

DOOM will be available for Xbox One, PS4 and PC in Spring 2016. Check out the gameplay trailer after the break.
