Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has come forward in support of more than his cabinet colleague Azam Khan. Also, Yadav denied that no specific inputs were given by centre on #Muzaffarnagar. BJP chief Rajnath Singh has accused ruling party in UP of hounding innocents.

According to NDTV, UP chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, in a conversation, denied that Home Minister never gave him any specific input on tension in #Muzaffarnagar.

He further said: "SP can never do communal politics, it's easy to instigate but difficult to explain these days."

BLOGUE

BJP president Rajnath Singh has called off his #Muzaffarnagar visit after the district management advised him not to do so.
Talking to CNN-IBN, he said: “It is unfortunate that the administration is stopping me from visiting.”

EPILOGUE

Accused of uploading a fake video that played a role in provoking communal tension in Muzaffarnagar and making inflammatory speeches, BJP MLA Sangeet Som was arrested from Salava village in his constituency Sardhana amid high voltage drama and slogan-shouting by his supporters.

Denying allegations against him, he said: "I did not upload the video. My office boys shared it. I came to know and removed it in five minutes." Another BJP MLA Suresh Rana has been sent to 14 day judicial custody by court. A court in Muzaffarnagar has issued arrest warrants against 16 politicians and community leaders.
