Hello my lovelies!

Here’s what I have for you today.

A fragrance for the a woman aware of her own beauty, who loves to take risks and knows how to get what she wants with her gentle touch and her sensuality.

I decided to treat myself whilst in town after Christmas and my mother dragged me into Debenhams to sniff all of the fragrances. As you do! So we’re testing all sorts of different perfumes and I come across Dolce & Gabbana Pour Femme.  I’m pretty old school with perfumes so I usually stick to Yardley’s Royal English Daisy or Ralph Lauren Romance if I do wear any, but this! THIS!! It’s something else entirely. It is EXACTLY how it’s described and more. Here’ the spiel from the site to show you what I mean:

THE CONCEPT

From the Mediterranean, epicentre of harmonies and contrasts, the classic perfume, Dolce&Gabbana Pour Femme, is reborn embodying the essence of the Dolce&Gabbana woman – passionate, sensual and maternal. For the woman that is aware of her strength and her instincts.

THE DESIGN

The Dolce&Gabbana Pour Femme bottle is a little masterpiece of luxury; a bottle of purity, compact with precise angles lending an image of absolute elegance, which blossoms enticingly into a crimson coloured cap supported by a solid base of gold.

So, the actual review bit…

The fragrance is very sweet smelling and almost not even a perfume at all. It definitely has those hints of raspberry, mandarin and jasmine. It is very very long lasting, even after my shower I could still smell hints of it on my wrist. It does cling to everything (hair/clothes) but not in a bad way. It’s definitely one of those scents that people will remember you by!

I got mine as part of a box set in Boots during the MAD sales so unless you find it your branch, you can find it here or in most perfume distributors. And I must say guys, It’s just a little bit sexy :P. I’m going to get my boyfriend to sniff me and see what happens because I certainly can’t stop sniffing myself! Hahahaha. Ah ma gaad! You know when you think you’ve found a product for life? I think this is definitely it. It’s worth every penny.

In my gift (to myself :)) set I also got a body lotion. I’ve used it once, but only on my hands because I couldn’t find my and cream. It’s not as sweet smelling as the fragrance itself but the formula is very smooth and silky and does leave the skin hydrated.

I haven’t tried it yet, but if Pour Femme Intense is anywhere near as glamorous as the original, I’ll be treating myself again. :)
