The Judging of the contestants were based on look, attire, personality, presentation, audience participation and overall Marilyn look and feel. Performances were also judged on their show and reaction from judges' and audience members, with options of live or lip-syncing. The “Forever Marilyn,” statue is owned by the Santa Monica-based Foundation will remain in Palm Springs until early September, according to the city and P.S.
