Do Men Take Pride In Personal Shopping ?

Laziness of Men’s Fashion

Shops today love to pride themselves on the personal service they claim to give.  I’d argue they achieve the polar opposite.  Their window mannequins look immaculate, dressed in the latest, most sought after lines on the rail.  Inside however, they encourage laziness on a colossal level.  First rail inside the door has three t-shirts for a tenner.  Second rail showcases two pairs of jeans for £25.  So in terms of service, the shop has catered for the gentleman who wants to get out, with no messing about, but ultimately are leaving him looking worse for wear before the evening’s festivities have begun.

Voila!  Now to head home, hot shower, bite to eat, hit the town.

The Need To Look Good

Later that night your laziness comes back to haunt you.  It was a good idea at the time, right?  Still, at least you’re the only person in the bar dressed like that, so you are unique to a point.  Why don’t you approach that girl you’ve been hoping to talk to all night but just can’t pluck up the courage?  Perhaps you could talk about your flamboyant, well sculpted outfit this evening?  On second thoughts….

The Personal Shopping Approach

That need never happen again, as personalised fashion advice is readily available at the click of a button online.  No more fashion faux pas’, find clothing to suit your build, skin color and hair easily and objectively.  Most importantly, find clothing to reflect your personality.  Unless you’re quite dull and non-descript, in which case say nothing and let your threads do the talking for you.  Online fashion advice really is tailored to your needs.  There isn’t a sales assistant under pressure to make a sale, who will tell you “Yeah mate, you look ace in that”, when you clearly don’t.  How annoying is it when they’re trying to get you into a £30 shirt when you’ve already told then you only want to spend £20?  Only honest information and advice will be found online.
