There’s nothing more horrifying than cleaning up after a party or event. These days cleaning up après-party usually involves glitter, flowers, and champagne bottles, which is actually pretty civilized. My favorite way to make the whole process more enjoyable is to use the empty bottles and leftover flowers to make the house seem beautiful again. I picked up this trick at ma-luxe studios, where there is always some sort of amazing party going on, yielding plenty of the necessary supplies!

Take any empty bottles, rinse them out and remove the labels with soapy warm water. Liquor bottles are actually really pretty when they are cleaned up.

Throw away any wilting flowers and keep the remaining long-stemmed, fresh ones.

Stick a few flowers and greenery into each empty bottle, and don’t worry about making them perfect, they will look good no matter what! Place them on counters, desks or night stands, and I promise the sunday morning after will be a little brighter!

Play around with different bottles and shapes, and group the same coloured bottles together.
