DIY Nails in Under 5 Minutes! | Fing’rs Press On Nails

The press on nail industry continues to get better AND better. And I’m loving it more AND more. Nothing beats the convenience of an out-of-the-box manicure. Even better are the nail designs available. They look like they were done by a professional nail artist at a salon. SIKE! You did them at home while watching Scandal and you only spent $7 bucks. Not that’s scandalous!

Today I’m reviewing Fing’rs press on nails. You can pick these up at your local drugstore or even Walmart {cheapest here at $5}. They come in super funky styles that are great for people with an active lifestyle — or those who have to type a lot on their blog

:-)

Here’s the deal right up front.

  • These are not for long-term wear. I’d say about 3 or 4 days before you have to dig into your back up stash to replace a nail or two.
  • They are sorta chunky at the cuticle area so things can get caught in there (like your hair), clothing, food, etc.
  • They are great for active fingers!
  • They look awesome!
  • No filing needed other than filing your nail beds so they fit snuggly on your nails – highly recommend.
  • You have one chance to get it right! Because the backs are so tacky, sizing them to your nails are really difficult without fully committing.
  • The numbering is in a weird place on the packaging. You have to pick up the nails (back to the previous comment about fully committing) in order to size them to your nails.

Check out the review on youtube if you would like to see a live demonstration of me applying them as a DIY at home manicure.

So overall… I likey. I have purchase 2 sets so far – Style Icon and Warp Star {which I think should have been named Totally Tribal BTW}. They are not perfect. But they are great for special occasions or when you just want to give your hands a makeover.

Happy Manis, XOXO
