I hope you are all well! WHYYYY won't this rain go away :( I'm going to Lovebox festival this weekend so hopefully it cheers up. Are any of you going?
A while ago I found some old black doc marten at a car boot sale for £2. I already have black ones so thought I would glitter them up! I will show you how I did it in this post. Overall it only cost me around £8 for a whole new look! Bargain :)
You will need:
- copydex glue
- black doc martens
- lots of glitter
- sealing spray glue
- purple ribbon
So the boots will start out something like this (just plain black doc martens). fill them with newspaper so it is easy to handle and the boot keeps it’s shape.
Take the laces out of the boots so it is easier to apply the glue and glitter and you get an even coverage
Paint the glue in patches one at a time onto the boot.
Paint glue on the boot bit by bit adding glitter to the gluey part. rRepeat this until the whole boot is covered.
When the glitter has covered all of the boot they will look like this :)
Thread through the purple ribbon (burn the ends with a lighter so they don’t frey) and the finished boot will look something like this :)
