Hello Gorgeous! I have a fun and super easy DIY project to share with you all. I purchased this dress a few weeks ago from DD’s Discounts and it was love at first sight. This black and white dress features cutouts on both sides–my fave part of the dress. However when I got home and tried on the dress I was very disappointed–it just didn’t look right on me so I decided not to return it to the store but I opted to turn this dress into a cute skirt. Keep reading for all the deets.

Steps to achieve this DIY skirt.
1. Try on the dress to see where you need to cut and mark it.

2. Grab a pair of scissors and start cutting. I completely cut of the top part of the dress leaving only the bottom half.
3. Try on the skirt to make sure it fits properly and that you like it.

And that’s it! I told you this is an easy one. This DIY look only a few minutes to achieve and I love the results. I will definitely feature this skirt in upcoming ootd post so stay tuned to see how I styled this DIY skirt.
