Disney's "Frozen" Arrives on Blu-ray and DVD on March 18!

By Parentingauthor @ParentingAuthor
One of the best movies I’ve seen recently was Disney’s Frozen. Honestly, I absolutely loved that movie! As soon as the first song began, I felt like I was watching a Broadway production. The music was fantastic (I even bought the soundtrack) and the story kept my attention from the first to the last second. Kristen Bell, who voices younger sister Anna, and Idina Menzel, who plays Elsa, her older sister aka the “Snow Queen,” have the most beautiful voices and played their roles with high energy. I just can’t say enough good things about this movie (and it’s family-friendly, too)!
That’s why I was thrilled to hear that Frozen will soon be out on Blu-ray and DVD! I’ll definitely be picking up a copy on March 18. If you haven’t had a chance to see Frozen yet, here’s what you have to look forward to:
Walt Disney Animation Studios presents a chilly twist on one of the most humorous and heartwarming stories ever told. Fearless optimist Anna sets off on an epic journey -- teaming up with rugged mountain man Kristoff and his loyal reindeer Sven -- to find her sister Elsa, whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter. Encountering Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls and a hilarious snowman named Olaf, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom.
Of course, the classic story of the Snow Queen has been “Disney-fied” by adding in silly sidekicks like a reindeer, trolls, and a talking snowman, but they don’t detract from the beauty of the story and animation, the honesty of the other characters or the gorgeous music. I hope you’ll bring home a copy of Frozen for your family on March 18. It’s one of Disney’s best ever, and I highly recommend it!
