From Torque Brewing in Winnipeg Manitoba comes their "Diesel Fitter Stout". The beer pours an opaque black colour with a brown head. The aroma consists of roasted malts, coffee, smoke and a hint of caramel and sweetness. The flavour is of caramel, burnt coffee, roasted malts, bitterness and earth with little to no sweetness. The alcohol content comes in at 6.5% with an IBU of 65. It is always great to see a new brewery open up with a strong beer! I look forward to trying more of their beers soon.
