Did Curiosity Rover Just Found a Flower on Mars?

Ever since NASA sent up the Curiosity Rover to Mars, we were eagerly waiting to hear some exiting news about something out of the ordinary, something alien perhaps. And finally we have great news from the big red planet as the Curiosity Rover has found another mysterious flower-shaped object on Mars. This is the first big news Curiosity Rover bring us after revealing that weird shiny alien object.

MAHLI-flower-mars

This was found thanks to the Mars Hand Lens Imager (MAHLI) camera on Curiosity Rover, while it was taking some close-ups of Mars surface.  This flower-shaped thing was spotted over a rock on the surface. While some assumed that this was just another piece of junk accidentally dropped by the Curiosity Rover, most other analysts said that it looks more like a part of the rock.

Either way, truth still remains as a mystery. And we still have no idea what this is. Could this actually be a flower? or just a debris from the spacecraft? Well, I’m sure this will get buried as some sort of an unsolved mystery, just like always.
