Darren Smallman takes a ride with a bunch of killer otters who are chasing Bozo, the new single by his one-man band Dez Dare. The punkish garage track could well serve as the soundtrack for a horror Sci-fi B-movie. The promo video is the proof in the pudding. Most likely all VU-meters were in the red when he recorded it. He embraced the fact that his vocals were buried in the mix as a consequence. The resultant lo-fi, garage noise was by design and the song should be played at top volume.
It is a track from his forthcoming new album Perseus War, due for release on March 17th, 2023 via CH!MP Records.
