Destiny won’t run at 1080p on Xbox One during beta testing, according to The (unofficial) Destiny Blog‘s report on an IGN Live segment.
Don’t freak out though – Bungie community manager David Dague (DeeJ) apparently confirmed the Xbox One will, like PS4, run at 1080p at launch in September. Bungie only recently decided to aim for 1080p after Microsoft released a new Xbox One SDK freeing up some processing power previously reserved for the Kinect.
