Destiny developer Bungie has said it will change the way Crucible rewards work.
PvP players often receive nothing at all for excellent performances, and sometimes Guardians receive the best drops merely for logging in as a match ends.
In a recent developer open house on the Bungie.net forums, Bungie PvP developer Mantis said the team is looking into changing things.
“Crucible rewards are on the low side for sure, and issue we intend to address in a future update,” they said.
Mantis also explained why rewards work the way they do:
“The rewards are random to encourage everyone in the game to play it to completion, rather than only the ‘winners’ staying,” they said.
