Destiny won't ship with microtransactions, Bungie has revealed, but they still may come in the future.
Speaking with GamingBolt, senior environment artist Jason Sussman explained that "currently there are no micro-transactions, everything is in-game. As you play the game, you're finding different equipment [that's] coming out of different enemies or treasure chests or even within the tower you will receive different rewards that you're rewarded within the game."
Each of the rewards are "all built within the game," Sussman adds.
Destiny launches next month.
