via Design Manifest
I'm currently dying over the above color scheme. I have been trying to work it into my bedroom, but now I got the rug for my family room. My family room sucks people. the kids trash it, and try as I might I have not been able to get it together. Its also connected to all the main rooms, which makes tying it all together tough.
Oh! Here is the rug... Once the rug went down, this is all I saw...

But I love the orange, rust, lavender in the rug and I want to bring more lavender and yellow in.

And I like the dark eggplant walls here too...
But my sun room is wide open to this room and needs to be redone if I go in this direction because I painted the floor and made it all crazy like this last summer...
So now I have four rooms (kitchen, family, bedroom and sun room) to work on fast because I have a massive headache from all the clashing going on and my family is going to duct tape me and leave me on the side of the highway for turning the house upside down.
Having a blog has made me be able to get crap done because you guys secretly hold me accountable. (Bet you didn't know the powers you all held!)
So I am forcing myself to update this hot mess weekly, because I'd really much rather be playing in the garden outside. So if any of you have any suggestions I'm all ears.
