The Hill reported that House Democrats on Wednesday formally renewed their push to renew a 1990s-era assault weapons ban. The Assault Weapons Ban of 2015 introduced Wednesday would target semi-automatic and other military-style guns. It would ensure that no such weapons are manufactured for consumer use, while placing new restrictions on the sale of already existing assault weapons.
The democrats apparently are unaware (or most likely don’t care) that most Americans are now opposed to a ban on so-called assault weapons – for the first time in 20 years, according to a new national poll from ABC News and The Washington Post. The poll released Wednesday shows that support for such a ban has fallen by nearly 50 percent since 1994.
It would help if the demorats even knew what an “assault weapon” was. For example, California State Senator Kevin de León.
But why let facts get in the way of their feeeeelings.
