What do you like to use when taking showers – a bar of soap or shower gel/body wash? I can use either and I still like creamy or thick body washes, but lately I’ve been a big fan of simple soap bars. They seem to last longer for me and I don’t get sick of them as easily as I do with body washes. I think it’s seeing the same bottle day in, day out that gets to me. Guess I’m just really fickle about my personal care.
Anyway, I’ve graduated from using drugstore beauty bars and mainly use handmade soap. Goat’s milk is lovely, but I wanted to try something else. So I was stoked to finally give Delizioso Skincare’s soaps a try!
As you can see, their soaps are HUGE. At a whopping 8 ounces, they last a long time and smell fantastic! These soaps lather up easily and generously, leaving your skin nourished with a touch of fragrance. Most soaps are cut at 4 or 5 ounces, and fit perfectly on most standard sized soap dishes. This one is more tall than it is wide, so they still fit those dishes! (I’m currently using this one.)
At the moment, I’m using the Chocolaty Strawberry one. It leaves a slight brownish residue on my bath towel, but comes right off so it’s not disturbing or permanent or anything. The scent fills the steamy shower as I lather up, and feels nice when rinsed off. Definitely provides a luxurious experience!
Filled with awesome, organic, wholesome ingredients like creamy coconut milk, essential oils, other skin friendly oils such as olive and castor, and topped with ultra moisturizing shea butter, you can’t go wrong with these long lasting, vegan and gluten free bars of goodness. Simply one of the best soaps I’ve ever tried, and even with 3 people using the soap it’s still as fat as ever! Just make sure it’s drained regularly on a soap dish and kept away from spraying water when not in use, and you’re golden.
I layer this with the Chocolaty Strawberry Body Butter, and the scent lasts all day. I can even still smell a bit of it the next day. I can’t get enough of Delizioso Skincare!
