On September 20, 2006, while driving to work Jeff Markin didn’t feel well but managed to drive himself to a nearby hospital. There, he had a massive heart attack.
After failing to revive Markin, Cardiologist Dr. Chauncey Crandall declared him dead.
As he was leaving the emergency room, Crandall heard a command to pray for Markin. So Crandall returned to the bed and prayed over the dead body of Markin.
After just one shock with defibrillators, Markin came back to life, with a regular heartbeat. Three days later, he woke up with no evidence of brain or organ damage.
