It was a really moving pre-game ceremony at Fenway Park today, as the Red Sox honored the first responders and the victims of Monday terrorist attack at the Boston Marathon.
David Ortiz concluded the ceremonies by saying this:
"This is our f***in' city. No one will dictate our freedom. Stay strong!"
Sure it was crude, but it definitely made a point. Boston has been through a lot this past week, and Papi was letting certain people know in no uncertain terms that the people of Boston (as well as America in general), won't be intimidated by terrorists.
