Daily Haiku and Writing Prompt (April 19, 2019)

Posted on the 19 April 2019 by Cendrinemedia @cendrinemedia

Kauai, Hawaii, is one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited. The island has seven distinct micro-climates as well as an incredible variety of landscapes. Its beaches are also wonderful.

When I saw the shells on the bottle, a story of desertion came to mind. Had the bottle been left on the beach after a party or had it spent some time floating in the ocean before landing there?

Ultimately, the answer does not matter. But the question helped me write one of my favorite haiku.

Your turn now! Write a haiku, six-word story or short poem based on the image above. If you prefer publishing the piece on your blog, please link to this prompt there. For example: Poem inspired by Cendrine Marrouat's daily visual prompt.
