The first solo exhibition from Cyclops opens on Friday at The Outsiders on London’s Greek Street.
Cyclops, part of the Burning Candy graffiti crew has evolved his artwork considerably since those days and his new work fuses Baroque-era portraiture with late Renaissance vanitas paintings, street art motifs, icons from religion and photorealism.
The show will feature 9 large canvases of striking female figures which have ben painted in oils, acrylic and spray paint. A selection of still life works will accompany these pieces, featuring for instance a skull wearing a cap from Supreme, the cult New York streetwear label.
