There is a new fashion event on the block and it couldn't have come along at a better time. Plus North and Plus London are no longer running and Style XL has been, leaving a big plus size event hole in my life.
So when i heard about Curve Fashion Festival i was excited. Taking place at Manchester Central on Saturday 26th September 2015, it is a one day event promising brands, pop up shops, cat walks and seminars.
It is the seminars that have me most interested, with some big names such as Tess Holliday, Hayley Hassleholf, Rivkie and Louise O'Reilly, talking about the media and industry, it is not to be missed.
The catwalk has been split into two categories, high street and celebrity collections, so you will see some great fashion, on some top models.
Besides all of these, attending events like this is so empowering, you will leave feeling like you can take on the world and that you are really part of a community. From my experience of attending other events, i've always had the best time with the people there. and made friends for life.
