I’m constantly trying new things. My attention span is that of a squirrel and when I receive something new, I want to try it immediately. Some I love, some… not so much. So today I’m giving you a run down of some things I’ve received and tried recently and my thoughts on them.
First, let’s talk about this dress. I bought this dress from ALF Boutique and I seriously love it. I feel so sexy and fierce in it and I’m not even sure why. Maybe it’s the off the shoulders or the uniqueness of the sleeves but I love it. It’s only $24 and you can save 15% off with code samanthashow.
Aveda Volumizing Tonic and Dry Shampoo– Aveda sent me a few samples last month and I’ve been loving these two items specifically. I don’t have the time nor do I want to wish my hair everyday (sometimes I go 3-4 without washing) so this dry shampoo has been a lifesaver. It’s a powder unlike the aerosols I normally use and I love it. Not to mention it smells amazing. I also love the volumizing tonic for both wearing my hair straight and curly. I don’t love the smell but it’s not overwhelming or disgusting or anything.
House of W- You’ve seen me talk about House of W before but I just got a few new things from there and I become more and more obsessed every time I get a new order. Their shirts are SO soft; like literally the softest shirts ever. Such great quality and totally worth the price. And even sweeter? You can save 15% off with code SAM15!
Chatbooks– Chatbooks was kind enough to send me my first round of books and I’m slightly obsessed. Like most people, I post a lot of pictures on Instagram and that’s it. Nothing ever happens to those images. So Chatbooks has a solution for you; for only $8 they put all of your photos into little books! Keep them on your coffee table or bust them out during family gatherings.. your choice! Want a discount? Check them out for yourselves and use code “samshow123” for a discount!
Dew Puff– this thing looks strange right? I was expecting the texture of an exfoliator because that’s what it looks like but it’s not at all! Once you soak it in water, it’s super soft. Dew puffs are 100% plant based cleansing tools. I’ve been having terrible breakouts so I’m hoping these babies can help get things under control. They only contain konjac root and are gentle yet exfoliating. And they last for 3 months of twice a day use! I’ll report back once I’ve used them for longer.
Pur Cosmetics Bronzer- Pur sent me this Glow Together bronzer and I’ve been using it daily. I love the shimmer and I love that it doesn’t make me orange like a lot of bronzers. It’s legit a sun-kissed look. I’ll be sharing more about this next week!
And last but not least, I’ve been LOVING this NKD Skin Gradual Glow they sent me. It’s not a self-tanner but a moisturizing lotion with gradual tanner. It’s definitely not as “gradual” as it says and I wake up the next day looking super tan. Make sure to avoid your hands, elbows, wrists, etc as you would any self-tanner but overall I am loving this. So much better than something like Jergens Natural Glow. I’ll be sharing more on this and another one of my fave products next week too.
Alright home slices, happy hump day. We’re almost to the weekend. Keep on hustlin’, dancin’ and smilin’! xo
