I am the type of person that when I try something new that I love, I  feel compelled to tell my friends and in many cases, as you know, my readers. In the case of my readers, I have decided that I would start doing a little round up of the things that I am currently obsessed with every month. Check them out below!

  1. MAC Cosmetics Sweet Succulence
    MAC-indulge-8200

I bought this color when I was on the hunt for a vampy color for the fall. I love the intense dark color and light feel that it has when applied. You have to know I am really obsessed with this color because this is the second time I have mentioned it in the last two weeks! Get it here!
  2. Maybelline Volum’ Express Falsies Big Eyes:
    Maybelline Big Eyes Mascara

I just love this mascara. I have been using some form of the Falsies line for at least a year. Maybelline Falsies Big Eyes has two brushes. One side is big brush for your top lashes and the other is a tiny brush for your bottom lashes. Combine the two and your eyes pop.  You do not realize how important your bottom lashes are until you coat them with mascara. It makes such a difference. With the tiny brush doing this is easy and cuts down on the mess. Get It here!

  3. Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure, Golden Rule

Lately, I have been obsessed with doing one or two accent nails on each hand. Since I am not skilled at nail art it, is a way to add a little bit of excitement to my manicures. My accent color of choice has been Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure, Golden Rule. It is a fun glitter gold that always adds something special. I like to do one coat of the color I am doing on the rest of my nails then while I am doing the second coat I paint on the glittery color. The formula is so rich that one coat is all you need to add that metallic zing.  Get it here!

  4. CeraVe and Purpose

    CeraVe Therapeutic Hand Cream
    Current Obessions: Vol 1
    Purpose Gentle Cleansing Bar

Recently, I was introduced to a few CeraVe and Purpose products. They made this little round up so you know I am obsessed!

Purpose Gentle Cleansing Wash: This is by far the best facial wash I have used in a long time. I wear A LOT of mascara. The gentle cleansing wash is one of the first washes I have found that takes off every stitch of mascara without the assistant of a makeup remover wipe. On occasion I need to rinse and repeat, but that is to be expected when you wear close to six coats of mascara (I am addicted, I know).  Get it here!

CeraVe Facial Moisturizing Lotion AM: I follow up the Purpose facial wash with CeraVe Facial Moisturizing Lotion AM. This awesome moisturizer is geared for use in the morning to last you through out the day. It is SPF 30, which is so hard to find in a daily moisturizer. Usually the maximum I can find is SPF 15. Though the summer is long gone, protection from the sun is still so important. UV Rays do not disappear with the heat fashionistas! Sun protection not only helps prevent skin disease, but is also an anti-aging measure. The light formula leaves your skin feeling soft so it is great for everyday use. Get it here!

CeraVe Therapeutic Hand Cream: Those cold days have set in, so this is great item to have in your purse at all times to help prevent dry hands in the winter.  This hand cream  is water-resistant, non-irritating, non-sensitizing, alcohol-free and fragrance-free! Get it here! Purpose Gentle Cleansing Bar: I am usually a body wash girl, but I have been loving this cleansing bar! It has a nice clean scent that leaves you feeling refreshed without that perfumed scent that body wash can leave behind. It is oil-free and hypoallergenic. I do not think I will go back to body wash any time soon! Get it here!
  5. Clip-in Extensions

For the past two (close to three) years I have had a short pixie cut. I kept the look partially because I feel like it suits me and my personal style, but mostly because I did not want to endure the grueling and awkward process of growing it out. I am the type of girl who likes to have a hair style at all times.

After spending the summer not cutting a way too short haircut that I got in April, I was at a crossroads. I could either cut it again into one of my usual short haircuts OR just keep letting it grow. I decided why not? What is the worst that can happen? if I hate I can just cut it again!

That mentality worked for about 3 weeks then I started to hit a super awkward length. I was inching to just cut it all off and be that chic girl I used to be. Then the idea dawned on me. Rather than going back to an old look why not just change it up all together (a.k.a. hair extensions).

I was not up for the four hour process of going to a hair salon and getting extension sewn in for two reasons. One reason is that is two much of a commitment. The other is that I  hate being at a hair salon for the more than two hours, I like to do my own hair in my own time and sewn extensions make it hard to do that.

One day in early October I just went on a whim. headed to a beauty supply store near my office, and picked up the clip ins. Now I am obsessed. It completely takes my look from boring to stylish in the short time it takes for me to put them in.

Is this a permanent state of being? I don’t know, but given the fact that I can take them out within five minutes I do not need to worry about that! Get it here!

These are my current obsessions look out for more obsessions next month fashionistas!
