Some of the papers from our collection conference on the 14th June are now online. We had a great day, listening and talking and thinking, and, most importantly, had an excellent lunch (thank you Sheffield Hallam catering)!
There were some fascinating papers, particularly in new areas of research, such as Hana Leaper’s talk on linocuts and Anna Cottrell on the interwar teashop – to name just two. Overall, the conference left me with the sense that there is still a great deal of important research to be done on the cultural battles on the early twentieth century.
