One of my favorite pairings from BrüFrou 2015: Dr. Wilkinson’s Dry Irish-Style Stout from Horse & Dragon Brewing with a Kale Salad Taco from McDevitt Taco Supply
Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 30, 2016. Why? It’s time once again for BrüFrou!
BrüFrou, a craft beer + culinary pairing event, is now in its third year. BrüFrou is the marquee craft beer & culinary pairing event of the year. Featuring 80 local brewers & chefs collaborating on 50+ unique pairings, BrüFrou [broo-froo] will excite your epicurean senses! On Saturday, April 30th, experience BrüFrou with friends & family at Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum, a WWII-era hangar in the Lowry community of Denver. Full Pairing Tickets are on sale now: $65-$95 (see chart below).
The ticketing structure is new this year, giving attendees the option to customize their experience. Don’t care about the beer? Opt for the dining only tickets. Don’t need the entire 5 hours to make your way through the pairings? Choose a 3-hour session ticket. (Note: the 2-hour session tickets are SOLD OUT). Another exciting addition for 2016: BrüFrou Debut Beers (beers designed to perfectly pair with their chef-partner created one-bite dishes and bring out amazing tastes that are greater then the sum of their parts) from local breweries Call to Arms, Declaration, High Hops, Oskar Blues, Station 26, and Wild Woods.
As someone who enjoys and appreciates the pairing of beer and food, BrüFrou is one of my favorite events every year. Check out my recaps from BrüFrou 2014 and BrüFrou 2015.
Not only are the pairings phenomenal, but the event is well run, spacious, and unique. Tickets are selling fast; be sure to get yours before it’s too late!
