Verdict on Cry Macho

Cry Macho is a drama following an aging rodeo star that is sent on a journey to find his boss’s son. It follows him leaving Texas and heading to Mexico in search of him, only to find himself involved in a much bigger cover-up.

This does end up coming under the typical coming-of-age type of movie. We have an older wiser figure that teaches a teenager about life and the importance of being a good person. It really doesn’t have much more than that going for it, as we have seen this formula so often before.

Final Thoughts Cry Macho is a by-the-book coming of age tale.
