Why ISIS Tactics are Effective in the Middle East
For the last 3 years, the JV team in the middle east has reigned death, destruction, and devastation over countless countries. We have seen terror attacks carried out on 5 of the 7 continents on our planet, and yet the most developed countries in the world do nothing to stop the surge. To think that we cannot locate these “Caliphs,” or leaders, inside Iraq and Syria is so preposterous it actually makes my blood pressure rise. Remember, these leaders are not the supposed Osama bin Laden hiding in a cave, but instead building hotels and resorts. They are visiting captured cities and holding parades through Ramadi. I can only ask myself, why have we not hosted a front against ISIS?
Knowing that the United States Armed Forces are empowered by 100% volunteers, I have yet to run across military members that are against pummeling ISIS back to the 7th century which they emerged. The ISIS militants are on a victory high, crazy for blood and supposedly afraid of nothing. They are used to winning, and used to slaughtering the innocent men, women and children when the unorganized, outgunned and untrained soldiers retreat.
The reason ISIS has been so successful is simple. They are armed with modern, western weapons. They are unified for the first time since the crusades. They have yet to fight a disciplined military. They have adequate funding and growing support of the locals. They think they cannot be defeated.
ISIS has become so bold, they now have matching uniforms. They think themselves a member of the caliphate and fight carrying battle flags (If you call slaughtering teens fighting). How devastated would the ISIS militants be if a battalion of Marines and a Brigade of soldiers, armed with air cover and armor rolled through Ramadi like Falujah in 2004? Most people have forgotten that in Desert Storm, Saddam Hussein had the world’s third largest army, and the feared Republican Guard was revered much like the ISIS militants are today. It took 90 hours before Saddam Hussein surrendered his 100,000 troops.
Yet once again, I come home to find Barrack Hussein Obama stating we will not engage ISIS. We will continue to bomb huts and hills, ignoring the 1 mile parades of armor and tanks. We will continue to let the Christians be slaughtered, the Kurds be raped, and the Iranians claim more and more of Iraq. Until we PUT BOOTS ON THE GROUND, and take the fight out of these heathens, ISIS will continue to grow on every continent. Let the MARINES loose! Let the Army loose! Let the Air Force Fly! We are ready. ISIS is not.
