Creamy Tomato and Meatball Pasta Bake
To make i use the following: 500g of pasta  1 onion diced  A clove of garlic  1 liter cartoon of passata (i get one with garlic and herbs) 150ml of cream  5 meatballs per serving (i use ikea ones but you can make your own) Cheese - as much as you like to cover the top  Veg - i normally use mushrooms, courgettes, sweetcorn and peas, but chuck whatever you fancy in.
Method; 1. Cook the pasta - hopefully you know how to do this 2. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees  3. Make the sauce (or use a jar and follow the instructions on that) In a saucepan, saute the onion and garlic in olive oil until soft. Add the passata (you could also add chopped tomatoes for texture if you wanted) salt and pepper. Bring to boil slowly and continue to boil for a few minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in the cream. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 more minutes. 4. In a big dish (you want enough room to stir) pour in the sauce and add the pasta, mix well until it is all covered, add the veg and meatballs and put in the oven for 20 minutes.  5. After the 20 minutes take it out and cover with cheese (i add a lot as i love cheese) and cook until it is golden and bubbling, this should take another 15 minutes and then eat while it is still hot and the cheese stringy.
