When I was a kid, I wanted to be like Batman so bad. This one time, I put on my Batman costume and jumped off a two-story building after throwing a rope attached with my Batman belt buckle into a nearby tree. Lucky I landed on a bush and survived the jump without getting both my legs broken. My parents thought I was crazy they took away my costume for good. Well, every little kid dreams of becoming a superhero. And when time passes we realize how stupid were and we grow up. That’s life. But, not for this Filipino guy. This guy named Herbert Chavez has undergone not 10.. not 15.. but 19 plastic surgeries to look like Superman.
According to the Daily Mail, 35-year-old man has been getting his makeover for 16 years, spending 300,000 Pesos (about $6900 USD). You can check out the photo below to see the difference of his real-life birth face and the new one. And yes, he is the biggest Superman fan. There’s no doubt about it as it says so on the Guinness Book of World Records because this guy owns over 1,253 items of Superman-related stuff. Well, I guess it’s not that crazy to go through all these surgeries to be like someone else. I mean everybody loved Michael Jackson, right?
Right now, I sure am glad that my mom took away my Batman costume..phew.
