I’ve seen so many posts on Crabtree & Evelyn products on other blogs and crossed their store so many times in DLF Promenade but don’t know why I never even went inside or thought about trying something from this brand!
But when I was in Delhi in December – January, I went to their store and looked around allll their products and was super confused what to try first!
So, I finally got this hand cream trio set and I’ve used it enough by now to review it for you all :D
The Crabtree & Evelyn hand creams come in aluminum kindof tubes, the old fashioned simple Boroline style tubes :D they are very easy to use and very travel friendly! The only con would be that it is possible that the tube gets a cut as its light metal, and it can even cause harm to skin, but I have not faced this thankfully! I quite love the pretty tubes :D
The 3 tubes in this set are of 25g each, bigger sizes are also sold individually!
The texture of the creams is very creamy and lotion-like. They are not at all heavy but yet quite moisturizing! My hands get very dry at times and these hydrate my hands very well! And there is no residue greasy feeling at all!
Talking about the 3 scents, all three of them have a common creamy scent as their base.
Pomegranate ~ this one has notes of pomegranate, grapeseed and argan according to the brand. I find it is very mildly scented and I can not really smell the notes separately but it has very pleasant fruity notes in it that are quite different from any scent I have tried!
Tarocco orange ~ has a mild citrusy scent, with mild orange flavor. Nothing too strong. This one is my favorite of all three, it is a lovely orange scent! The site describes the scent as Tarocco orange, bitter orange, eucalyptus and sage.
Avocado ~ this one is also quite a unique scent, it is kindof a kitchen scent and also very pleasant! It has notes of avocado butter, basil and olive!
I really can’t describe these scents well enough so you must try them at a store! They are all lovely scents :)
The scent of the cream vanishes in a few minutes from hands but my hands remain pleasant smelling for quite some time!
For me using these creams is such a wonderful experience, I’ve already finished the pomegranate tube :D I love carrying these in my travel bag and even in my daily handbag, the winters here make skin dry in just a few minutes if they are exposed!
Ingredients:
I bought this set in India for Rs.1295. It retails for around $20 in USA. I think this is a great set if you want to try these creams before splurging on the bigger sizes or even just for having these small sizes for keeping in your purse or work desk. Also, I feel this would make a lovely gift!
Overall, the Crabtree & Evelyn hand creams are extremely moisturizing with mild pleasant scents! Slightly expensive but the quantity is worth the price :D
I love these hand creams and would love to try more scents of these :D and if you have dry hands, you must try atleast one of these wonderful hand cream tubes :)
