It's really starting to get chilly out there! In partnership with Zappos I styled my new Paige jeans and Freebird boots with a cozy sweater and scarf for an afternoon walk this weekend.
Zappos, celebrating it's 15th anniversary this year, was kind enough to send me these beautiful Jumpn boots by Freebird. As soon as I opened the package, I was enveloped in that gorgeous, real leather smell. Inspired by vintage Americana, Freebird uses traditional Goodyear construction techniques so each pair is one of a kind and soles are virtually indestructible. I embraced their boho vibe by pairing them with a chunky knit cardicoat and over sized scarf.
Of course by now you know that Zappos is much more than just shoes! They carry over a 1,000 brands in footwear, apparel and accessories and pride themselves on having unparalleled customer service. In fact, they'd say they are a customer service business...that just so happens to also sell shoes and apparel!
Shopping on Zappos is a breeze with fast, free shipping (if you order before 1pm PST you get free NEXT DAY shipping on all clothing orders!), an easy to navigate layout, and honest customer reviews. They have such a friendly, creative corporate culture that seems positive for both customers and employees that it feels good to support their company.
In addition to the boots, I also received PAIGE's Jimmy Jimmy Skinny Boyfriend jeans. I'm a big fan of the boyfriend trend but my shape doesn't really work with the style. I also love that PAIGE dyes their denim right in LA's best wash houses. I had sort of accepted that it was one trend I couldn't wear but then I slipped on the Jimmy Jimmy! They have just enough give to show off the trend but is still incredibly flattering on my curvy shape. I've been living in them all week. Perfect!
