Milk! Records has a brand spankin’ new compilation out on Feb. 14, and if Courtney Barnett’s contribution is any indication, it’s going to be a keeper. Barnett’s new song, “Three Packs a Day,” is filled with the Australian singer-songwriter’s typical humor (it’s an ode to instant ramen, after all) and signature cadence, and is the light, fun track that we need in these dark days of January. Let us hope this means that she is already at work on the follow-up to 2015’s wonderful Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit. You can pre-order the compilation, Good For You, now by heading here.
