Corning has unveiled their latest invention, Gorilla Glass for touchscreen laptop displays.
In case you didn’t know, Corning is the company behind scratch resistant displays. Without their technology, your smartphones and tablets would now be full of scratches and dark spots. Now they have finally made this technology available for touchscreen laptops, since everyone’s starting to use those Windows 8-powered touchscreen laptops.
In a new advertisement, Corning claims that their new Gorilla Glass protection helps save your laptop screen from cracking or breaking, even when you close it hard while there’s something left forgotten on the keyboard. Things like that rarely happens but, they were just showing off what it’s really capable of. New Gorilla Glass NBT also features 8x-10x higher scratch resistance and better protection against shock of accidental bumps.
From now on, touchscreen laptop users will have all the freedom to touch and scratch all over their laptop screen. Load the video and see the funny demonstration ad.
