Coriander Pale Ale – Hathi Brewing

By Mike @mikescraftbeer

From Hathi Brewing currently brewing out of Ravens Brewing in Abbotsford comes their "Coriander Pale Ale". The beer pours a deep orange with a white head. The aroma consists of coriander, citrus, grapefruit and floral. The flavour is of coriander, herbal, citrus, grapefruit, citrus rind, caramel and some bitterness. The alcohol content comes in at 5.2%. I would have to say that I have never had a Pale Ale like this one. The coriander adds a really nice layer to this beer.

Commercial Description: Since coriander is a staple ingredient in almost every Indian dish, we thought it'd be fitting to add it to our favourite pale ale! Cracked coriander seeds are added throughout the brewing process and provide the palate with a refreshing lemon & lime citrus flavouring and aroma, changing the way you eat Indian food.
