Cordoba

By Expanishargentina @expanish

Cordoba is a picturesque city surrounded by valleys and mountains.  Best known for its concentration of Spanish colonial buildings, Cordoba sits only a few hours from the pampas plain and from the Sierras Pampeanas.  If you’re looking for a time to visit, October holds the annual Fiesta nacional de la Cerveza or in other words, Octoberfest!  Octoberfest is held annually for two Weekends in Villa General Belgrano in the provincia of Cordoba.  The party begins at noon and late into the night. People enjoy the show and can taste different varieties of beer and food.

If October is too far in the future, then head to Cordoba and enjoy the museums, plazas, and history that it has to offer.  For those who prefer museums, the Museo Historico Provincial Marques de Sobremonte offers an 18-th century colonial style house that once belonged Rafael Nunez.  Either way Cordoba offers part of the exciting history surrounding Argentina with a more relaxed feeling than Buenos Aires.
